The Kiefer family, along with the ‘Remembering Lauren 5K Committee’ would like to extend our deepest appreciation to everyone who took part in the initial LM5K which took place on Saturday, June 23, 2007. With the help of over a thousand sponsors, volunteers, and race participants, The Lauren Kiefer Memorial Foundation, Inc. was fortunate to have raised over $40,000. Your generosity has donated to many charitable causes, such as The Parents of Murdered Children DuPage Chapter, For the Love of McKenna Foundation, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, and York Center Food Pantry. In addition, Lauren Kiefer Memorial Scholarships will be presented to two Willowbrook High School seniors in May of 2008.

Established in 2006, the The Lauren Kiefer Memorial Foundation, Inc. continues to celebrate Lauren’s life through helping others. The second annual LM5K will take place on Saturday, June 21, 2008. We look forward to seeing you there!
